Riyadh, Saudi Arabia
During the 6th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable (Doha, Qatar 8-10 November, 2015), Saudi Arabia proposed that an Energy Efficiency Conference and Expo should be held in Riyadh to exchange experience and best practices between Asian countries, in cooperation with the International Energy Forum (IEF). Japan has kindly decided to co-host the conference which is to be held from 30 October to 2 November 2017, at the Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center.
A ministerial meeting and the opening ceremony of the conference will be held on 30 October 2017. Invitations will be extended to countries participating in the 7th Asian Ministerial Energy Roundtable (AMER7) as well as to other Asian member countries of the IEF and the member countries of the G20.
The conference will gather experts from a range of countries and international organisations to participate in the technical sessions. The sessions will include presentations in energy efficiency (EE) policies, technologies and solutions, as well as EE enablers such as awareness, product control and promoting the energy service industry. Invitations will also be extended to leading Asian and international companies to exhibit their EE technologies and solutions at the conference exhibition.
Regular updates of the conference and exhibition detail will be published on the Asia Energy Efficiency Conference & Expo website, and social media.
