On Sunday 25 January 2009, at the IEF Headquarters, Gertjan Lankhorst, CEO of Gasterra gave a speech on "The Hybrid European Gas Market and the Producer-Consumer Dialogue in Gas" Paolo Scaroni, CEO of ENI delivered (in absentia) a presentation entitled "The Outlook for the Global Oil Market and the Producer – Consumer Dialogue" Noe van Hulst, IEF Secretary General presented an overview of IEF activities entitled "Energy Security through Dialogue"
