IEF-KAPSARC Speaker Series - Energy Outlook 2015: Impact of the oil price fall and pragmatic approaches to climate change

The Secretary General of the International Energy Forum (IEF) Dr Aldo Flores-Quiroga and the President of the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre (KAPSARC) Mr Samer Al Ashgar launched the joint IEF-KAPSARC Speaker Series with a lecture by Mr Masakazu Toyoda, CEO and Chairman of the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan (IEEJ), on the “IEEJ Energy Outlook 2015: Impact of the Oil Price Fall and Pragmatic Approaches to Climate Change”.
The meeting took place at the Headquarters of the IEF on 12 November 2015 and was attended by country representatives from the diplomatic corps and international business community who exchanged views during the roundtable discussion and a light networking lunch that followed.
Mr Toyoda has been CEO and Chairman of the Institute of Energy Economics, Japan, since July 2010. He is currently also a Member of the International Advisory Board of the King Abdullah Petroleum Studies and Research Centre (KAPSARC).
