International Energy Governance, Chatham House
London, United Kingdom
IEF Secretary General Aldo Flores took part in a Chatham House workshop on International Energy Governance organised in partnership with the Grantham Institute for Climate Change at Imperial College. Topics covered included the big changes that the international energy economy has experienced in recent decades, the growing role and influence of the BRICS, market turbulence, and the advent of climate change as a major political imperative. Participants also considered whether today’s institutions of global energy governance are fit for purpose and whether they provide the right framework for multilateral co-operation.
