America’s Natural Gas Alliance
Representing North America’s leading independent natural gas exploration and production companies, America's Natural Gas Alliance (ANGA) works with industry, government and customer stakeholders to promote increased demand for and continued availability of the USA’s abundant natural gas resource for a cleaner and more secure energy future.
Eurogas was founded in 1990 as a non-profit organisation to represent the interests of the gas industry. Its 44 members currently comprise companies, national associations and international organisations all engaged in the wholesale, retail and distribution of gas in Europe. The association aims to strengthen the role of gas in the energy mix by establishing an ongoing dialogue with European industry players, global producers of gas and relevant institutions such as the European Commission.
Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE)
Gas Infrastructure Europe (GIE) is an association representing the sole interest of the infrastructure industry in the natural gas business such as Transmission System Operators, Storage System Operators and LNG Terminal Operators. GIE has currently 68 members in 25 European countries.
International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP)
IOGP encompasses most of the world’s leading publicly-traded, private and state-owned oil and gas companies, oil and gas associations and major upstream service companies. IOGP members produce more than half of the world's oil and about one third of its gas.
International Gas Union (IGU)
The mission of IGU is to advocate gas as an integral part of a sustainable global energy system, and to promote the political, technical and economic progress of the gas industry. The more than 120 members of IGU are associations and corporations of the gas industry representing over 95% of the global gas market. The working organisation of IGU covers the complete value of gas chain from exploration and production, transmission via pipelines and liquefied natural gas (LNG) to distribution and combustion of gas at the point of use.
Marcogaz is the representative body of the European Natural Gas Industry on all technical issues. Their stated aim is to monitor and influence when needed European technical regulation, standardisation and certification with respect to integrity and safety of pipeline systems, equipment, and the rational use of energy.
Natural Gas Europe
Natural Gas Europe aims to be a leading engagement platform directed towards the stakeholder spectrum in natural gas matters impacting Europe. It is an initiative of an advisory boutique focused on the media sector.
Naturalgas.org is presented as an educational website covering a variety of topics related to the natural gas industry, developed and maintained by the Natural Gas Supply Association to serve as an informational resource on the many aspects of natural gas. The purpose of this website is to provide visitors with a comprehensive information source for topics related to natural gas, and present an unbiased learning tool for students, teachers, industry, media, and government.
