IEF Special Lecture and Dialogue Roundtable Debate: China's experience in building an energy saving and low carbon computing infrastructure

The IEF was pleased to welcome Dr Yao Yu, Party Organizer Member (Director Level) at the Big Data Development, National Information Center, China, for a special lecture on "China's experience in building an energy saving and low carbon computing infrastructure".

Dr Yao's lecture deepened understanding of the role of China in digitalization, energy conservation and building a low-carbon computing infrastructure.

Dr Yao was accompanied by:

• Mr Chen Qiang, Deputy General Director of the Big Data Development Department at the National Information Center. He is also the President of the Chongqing Western Big Data Application Development Research Institute.
• Mr Tong Nannan, Deputy Director of the Economic Department for Computing Power, Big Data Development Center.

The lecture was followed by a roundtable debate with invited guests.
