Secretary General
Jassim Alshirawi is the sixth Secretary General of the International Energy Forum (IEF), the largest international organization of energy ministers, based in the Diplomatic Quarter in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. His term officially started on January 1, 2025.
Member Countries
The IEF is the world's largest international organization of energy ministers from over 70 countries and includes both producing and consuming nations
Executive Board
The Executive Board, which serves as the governing body of the Forum, is comprised of thirty-one designated representatives of ministers responsible for energy matters from IEF member states
Industry Advisory Committee
The IEF's Industry Advisory Committee (IAC) includes senior leaders from energy companies headquartered in member countries
