4th Annual Brookings Doha Energy Forum

The highly respected 4th Brookings Doha Energy Forum was structured around the theme “Energy Stability or a false sense of security: How changes in geopolitics, political economy, and markets alter the energy landscape”.
Energy experts, government representatives and entrepreneurs from around the world discussed in this closed-door conference a broad range of subjects, ranging from the geopolitics of energy to recent oil and gas market developments, and touching on their implications for the Gulf economies.
Dr Flores-Quiroga was a panelist in the Third Plenary Session, on “Energy Markets in Motion”, where discussants explored the factors behind the changing environment for global energy companies and how their strategies might have to adjust in light of technological developments that are transforming energy markets.
