6th Gulf Intelligence UAE Energy Forum

Government and industry leaders gathered in this high-level Forum organised under the theme “Energy Industry Outlook for 2015: Unknown Unknowns & Known Knowns?”.
Inaugurated by HE Suhail Mohammed Al-Mazrouei, Minister of Energy, United Arab Emirates, it was structured to examine the causes and consequences for the global energy sector of the pronounced drop in oil prices since June 2014.
Featured speakers included H.E. Fouad Siniora, Former Prime Minister, Lebanon, RT Hon. Lord David Howell of Guildford, Former UK Secretary of State for Energy and Former Energy Adviser to the UK Foreign Secretary, Xiaojie Xu, Chair Fellow, IWEP World Energy & International Advisor to China’s National Energy Administration, and Narendra Taneja, President, World Energy Policy Summit.
Secretary General Flores-Quiroga participated in the industry leaders panel discussion “The Outlook for Gas in a Lower Oil Price Reality?”
