7th Regional JODI Training Workshop for Middle East and North Africa

In support of ongoing efforts to improve JODI data quality, the 7th Regional JODI Training Workshop was held in Rabat, Morocco, hosted by the Kingdom of Morocco's Ministry of Energy, Mines, Water and Environment. JODI partners, APEC, Eurostat, IEA, IEF, OPEC, OLADE and UNSD cooperated in the delivery of the Programme.

41 participants from 11 countries of the MENA region took part in the workshop. All participants are currently in charge of hydrocarbon data collection for government administrations which participate with JODI. In order to increase JODI data quality the workshop covered topics ranging from JODI’s background and objectives to case studies and the technicalities of the extended JODI Questionnaire.
