Dr Sun Xiansheng, Secretary General of the International Energy Forum (IEF), delivered a presentation to an audience gathered by the CSIS Energy & National Security Program at their headquarters in Washington DC. Dr Sun’s presentation "Energy Security, Transition and Dialogue" and the subsequent roundtable discussion focused on the forces impacting the security of global oil and gas supplies, and the challenges posed by the volatile nature of energy markets, and the policy implications of tightening greenhouse gas emission thresholds around the world.
The session was moderated by Adam Sieminksi, former EIA Administrator and current holder of the James R Schlesinger Chair for Energy and Geopolitics.
