This inaugural conference of the Arab Gulf States Institute in Washington (AGSIW), a new think tank, focused on the implications of the sharp and volatile decline in oil prices for investment around the world, with special attention to the interconnections between US unconventional oil production, the economies of the Arab Gulf States, and US Foreign Policy.
Secretary General Flores-Quiroga delivered a presentation and participated as a panelist in the session on “Volatile Oil Prices: Origins, Impact, and Prospects for Energy Producers and Consumers.”
