Third GECF Gas Summit
Tehran, Iran
IEF Secretary General Aldo Flores participated in the Third GECF Gas Summit in Tehran on 23 November 2015.
Dr Flores joined the Heads of State, Ministers and senior officials from twelve GECF member countries and seven observer nations to exchange views on international gas markets and promote the producer-consumer dialogue.
The IEF Secretary General thanked the summit participants for their support of JODI-Gas through the active involvement of the GECF, which has provided information and valuable expertise. JODI-Gas was launched at the IEF14 Ministerial in Moscow in 2014.
Dr Flores noted that the JODI database is a concrete outcome of the global energy dialogue and contributes to dispel uncertainty as gas markets evolve.
