Hitachi Energy joins the International Energy Forum's Industry Advisory Council

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, 11 October 2026 - Today, on the occasion of the IEF17 Ministerial, the International Energy Forum (IEF) welcomed Hitachi Energy to its Industry Advisory Council (IAC), strengthening the Council's expertise across electricity systems, grid infrastructure, and the technologies needed to support secure, affordable, and increasingly sustainable energy systems.

As the global home of energy dialogue, the IEF brings together energy ministers from producing, consuming, and transit countries alongside industry leaders to promote informed dialogue on energy security, market stability, investment, and orderly energy transitions. The IEF's Industry Advisory Council, provides a structured platform for industry leaders to contribute practical insights on energy markets, investment, technology, and energy transitions to the IEF Secretariat and Member Countries, ensuring that ministerial dialogue benefits from operational experience across the global energy sector.

Hitachi Energy joins the IAC at a pivotal moment for the global energy sector as governments and industry work to expand and modernize electricity networks to meet rising demand, strengthen resilience, integrate new sources of generation, and enable continued economic growth.

Drawing on its global leadership in power grids electrification, and digital innovation, Hitachi Energy will contribute deep technical expertise and strategic perspectives to support the Council's efforts to advance a more sustainable, secure, and resilient energy future.
